The association « ESPOIR DIFFUSION » was created in February 2008 by Philippe Decourroux and his friends, to support and develop the actions taken by the singer since many years.
With more than 1000 concerts in a dozen countries on 3 continents and with more than 220.000 CD’s sold, the message given by Philippe has touched a great number of people, and many are those who testify about being encouraged, strengthened and transformed by this message.
Furthermore, humanitarian actions have accompanied the concerts of Philippe in prisons and poor countries (Romania, Africa, Brazil and Madagascar).

Our struggles and our goals...
- FIGHT AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING
Struck by the magnitude and the monstrosity of human trafficking with the purpose of sexual slavery, Philippe Decourroux has written the song « The girls from the East » with the known purpose of raising awareness and mobilizing public opinion against this crime. In 2009, the testimony of a victim has the subject of a video clip « The world needs to know ». This clip appears on the DVD « Sing for you » and is broadcasted on several websites. It has been viewed by tens of thousands of people, which is for us, a first step in the purpose we are pursuing.
Our vision is to use songs, video clips, and movies to denounce human trafficking and show the world that most prostitutes or « sex workers » are prey to modern times’ slaves traders. Sensitize the public and the youth more particularly to this reality will allow us to press politics to take measures that will stop this traffic and rescue the victims.

- HELP TO PEOPLE IN DISTRESS
The dictionnary tells us that distress is an anxiety caused by a feeling of abandonment, helplessness, by a desperate situation. We have experienced this promise of God’s Word that says « Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble » (The Bible, 2 Corinthians 1/3-7)
Strong with this confidence, our desir is to bring this hope around us, and we devote our ressources and energy for this cause. Thereby, the concerts and Cd’s of Philippe Decourroux, by the themes they address, give us the opportunity to join people in their sufferings and questions.

- SPREADING THE MESSAGE OF THE BIBLE
Our friend EDMILSON, soccer worldchampion with the Brazilian team was recently telling us :

« Today, if you say you are Buddhist or Hindu, people say you are ZEN. But if you say you are a christian, they say you are bigot... ».
In a society adrift, losing its way and taken in traps of immorality, violence and addictions of all kinds, most of our contemporaries have closed the door to everything concerning the Church, God and everything classified as being « religious ». This closing is also the logical consequence of churches withdrawal with a message being outdated and inappropriate to our time. However, today’s world, more than ever, is searching for truth, freedom, love and hope, looking for this values that only the correct understanding of the Gospel of Jesus-Christ can bring in a real and sustainable way. Therefore, we noticed that songs talking about life and an authentic experience of faith, with simplicity and truth, find a favorable answer in every segments of the population. To us, spreading the message of the Gospel, and figthing against human trafficking aim at the same target : Freedom from slavery, establishing justice, and leading people to (re) discover their dignity as men and women. It is our conviction and our call.
By our commitments, we desire to raise awareness amongst our contemporaries and specifically amongst young people towards this message.Indeed, despite the predominance of individualism in our society, we noticed that young people are searching for truth and justice. Making them aware of sexual slavery enables them to link to every other kinds of slavery we can encounter. It is the starting point of a real thinking about the true values of life. The elements of this thinking are clearly expressed in Philippe Decourroux’s CD’s, which have been created as life-generator tools serving those who listen to them.

- CONCERTS AND ACTIONS IN PRISONS
In Belgium, France, Madagascar, Brazil and on the African continent, numerous prisoners have been touched by the concerts and actions of the Decourroux team. They willingly testify about the impact of Philippe’s singing in their life. Some of them have requested a personal follow-up by a local member of ESPOIR DIFFUSION. We plan to extend these actions to as many prisons as possible, and at the same time, offering to prisonners a material support, especially with first necessity products.

- TOURS IN POOR COUNTRIES
The CD « As long as there will be men » SPECIAL AFRICA of Philippe Decourroux is already distributed in several African countries for less than 1 dollar per piece. The message of love and forgiveness included in this CD is perceived by many as a powerful tool to bring reconciliation and peace in ethnic conflicts which sow hatred and destruction throughout the continent. Our goal is to widely distribute this CD, especially in schools, high schools and universities, so we can impact those who will lead Africa tomorrow. Several tours of concerts with Philippe Decourroux took place in Senegal, Martinique and Madagascar.
